France 50 is located in Minneapolis, on the east side of France Avenue just south of 49th Street. The site is very well connected to the popular 50th & France district, which encompasses both Minneapolis and neighboring Edina, the Twin Cities' most affluent suburb. This area functions as the “downtown” of Edina, known for its walkable environment, popular shops and boutiques, and a number of restaurants. This area also provides good access to the Minneapolis Lakes Area, “Uptown” Minneapolis, and the Minneapolis CBD within a reasonable commuting distance.

France 50 had been classified as a “walker’s paradise,” with a walk score of 91/100,

with transit and is bikeable.

Residents will have convenient access to a unique collection of upscale boutiques, salons, restaurants, and fitness studios at 50th and France. Most goods and services

are accessible within a short walking distance. Bus stops are available on both 50th

and France Avenue.

 

Two blocks southwest of the site is a Lund’s and Byerly’s grocery, as well as a number

of popular restaurant concepts including The Lynhall, D’Amico and Sons, Edina Grill,

Red Cow, Salut Bar American, and Cocina Del Barrio. There are several unique shops within a short walk, including Bluebird Boutique, Annika Bridal Boutique, Nani Nula,

and Pacifier Kids and Bay Boutique. Residents will also have access to many

parks including Wooddale, Utley, and Arden.
